Duo

Rob and Peter have been performing together as a duo since 1990. Following a debut live performance on BBC Radio 3, the duo have performed together across the UK, and as far afield as Belgium and Japan. They have recorded three CDs together:

‘Towards the Light’ (1998)

‘The Time is Now’ (2006) as the Equivox Trio, with percussionist Simone Rebello, and

‘Duality’ (2014).

Their repertoire is a uniquely personal selection of commissions and arrangements, merging contemporary classical and jazz styles, compositions and influences to frame the modern contemporary saxophone in a sound world that celebrates the rich heritage of the saxophone in all of it’s guises.
